Statement
I like combining expressive painterly techniques with manufactured shapes and icons – to create interesting hybrids
that challenge both the source's nostalgic ideals and their branding orthodoxy. In future work, I'll continue exploring how
the relationship between art and commerce can be transformed by finding unexpected similarities between them.

This drawn has been scanned in as quick sketch outlining the shape of the head, body, eye and mouth.
This illustration has been scanned in and all the features placed in. Giving the shape of the hair and body position the way the illustrator has drawn.
In this drawn the hair line has been drawn on and the features on the face. The box in the background is showing there is a background highlighted in the proper photo.
This is a photo I drew copying Peter Winnett illustration, the girls long hair attracted me to this illustration with the eye catching colours contrasting purples blues and white.
This photo was traced around using tracing paper then I added some colour in to the illustrator’s hair using watercolours on photo shop and blending it altogether with the motion blur.
This drawing is where I completed all the illustration using different tools to get different effects, but mainly watercolours and the motion blur was used throughout most of the illustration.
